A major leak in the 8″ water main serving essentially all customers was repaired on August 17. The work required shutting off water to the entire system, although some customers on J Rd and L Rd did not lose water. The line was fixed around 2:00, and the system was slowly refilled, with service restored to all customers by around 3:30. Because much of the system was emptied and refilled, there may be some discoloration in the water, and air in service lines may make water look milky for some customers for the next day or so.
